Bad to the Bone Human Ticket


Join fellow animal lovers of all ages at the Eiffel Society at 2040 St Charles Avenue from 6 – 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014, for a night of the finest pet & human high fashion costumes. If dogs in dresses weren’t enough, there will be great music and a cash door prize.  And, the first 200 guests will receive doggie bags full of treats for pets and great giveaways for their humans.

The doggie fashion show starts at 7:15 p.m., and all the canine models will be up for adoption with the hope to be rescued on the runway! After the fashion show, our guests will have a chance to participate in a Costume Contest for best-dressed pet, best human costume, and best pet/person pair.

Prizes include a six month supply of Natural Balance dog food from Petceteraa three month supply of Fromm dog food from Petcetera, a three month supply of dog food from Nutro, toys, treats, dog cakes, and gift certificates from many wonderful local businesses such as Horn’s and Fleur de Tease.

Come sample food from several local restaurants while you get down with your hound. Some of the restaurants include Nacho Mama’s, Reginelli’s, Hooter’s, Eiffel Society, Joey K’s, Pinkberry, Arana, Salu, Amici, and Ernst Cafe.  Chef Mike Gowland, winner of Chopped and owner of Fireman Mike’s Kitchen, will tantalize the crowds with a special Bad to the Bone dish.  The Humane Society is also cooking a vegan dish.

All food sales will be donated to one of the nine local rescue groups presenting pets for adoption at the event. These groups are Jefferson Parish SPCA, ABARS Mastiff Rescue, Used Dogs, Tater Tot Big Dog Rescue, Doggone Express, Lovers Not Biters, LASPCA, SULA Foundation, PAWS, and the Louisiana Humane Society.

Runway costumes will be provided by local designers, including, Oliver Manhattan, Don Corbitt, Daniel Sheridan and NOLA Bitch, a doggie style – design house.

Come mingle with our MC Monica Hernandez of CBS, TPot from B97, Chris Franklin from Fox 8 and our other guest judges.  Don’t miss out on seeing and meeting some of the sexiest New Orleans’ firefighters and some of the Fleur de Tease ladies.

This year we have a great silent auction with art, furniture, jewelry, autographed Saints football and more benefitting Project Spay/Neuter.


$15 for humans in advance/$20 at the door

$10.00 for pets

Dress is casual or costume and the event is open to all ages.

All donations will go to the animal rescue groups.

Petcetera will offer a 10% discount on costumes purchased in the store at the same time as a Bad to the Bone ticket.

All tickets purchased online will have a $2.00 handling and credit card charge added.  Your tickets will be held at petcetera for pick up, or you can pick them up on the night of event at the front door of the event when you enter.
